Tin Spirit was a branding project with scope to develop many different products under the same umbrella company. The company has so far developed a new bar, installed a reclaimed still within the bar, developed it’s own lager and is currently in the process of developing three, uniquely Cornish alcohols. To brand the umbrella company, I responded with a logo that could encompass the classic Cornish imagery with a clean, contemporary mono-mark that would hold it’s legibility even at very small sizes, conjuring up a ghostly sense of ‘spirit’ that tied in notes of artwork that already existed for the brand.
